I've been looking for some good Chinese in the Ann Arbor for years. Finally, somewhere that actually surpasses that expectation. By far the best Chinese food in Ann Arbor. I would recommend the Szechuan chicken, Mongolian Beef, and sweet and spicy shrimp

Easily the best Chinese food in town

This is basically the average chinese restaurant that you're going to visit anywhere. Its got all the classic dishes like sesame chicken or egg drop soup. The staff seem friendly enough, coming to check on how your food is doing once or twice. If you're going here to get a 5 star course full of extravagant delicacies, you've come to the wrong place. This is a place to go when you're on a budget or want to get a quick bite to eat. The food was less than spectacular, same with the staff and the cleanliness of the place is questionable. But overall, I would say that this is an average Chinese restaurant, not terrible but not great.

They have started skimping on there servings. Egg rolls barely had any contents & there lunch servings are very small compared to before. Food was just ok.

The sweet and sour chicken is the best

We've been getting carryout from Panda house for over 10 years. We love the General Tsao's Chicken and Pork Lo Mein. Pan Fried Dumplings and Shrimp Spring Rolls are great, too. The food is consistent, and always good. We've tried a closer place, but keep going back to Panda House. We don't dine in often, but the woodcarving partition is really cool.

Have only had delivery but have been very satisfied. The large portions are large indeed and can be stretched for two meals, 3 for my wife! The shrimp are large and flavorful. Multiple deliveries have been on time or early. Will order again.

Great food and value for money. The lunch specials are good and give quest a good quantity.

Good food and very good prices. I only wish they would show some sign that they remember me and some of my preferences. I eat here pretty much every week.

My favorite place for Chinese in Ann Arbor, personally. I'm a vegetarian and they have a pretty wide variety of tofu and vegetable dishes that are all really tasty and well prepared! Delivery has always come through in a timely fashion, too.

I remember eating here and now rarely frequent. Nice scenery, bathrooms, refillable drink. Big menu, lunch special, delivery. Quiet.

My favorite Chinese restaurant.We have been coming here for years. Their general's chicken is great. I m told they are only one of 3 places in A2 that has pineapple chicken. I recently tried the roast pork with black bean a friend had ordered it was really flavorful and the pork was tender and smokey. I like the hot sour soup.I like hot and spicy ,you may have hot chili oil if you request it. The chicken on a stick is delicious. They have both spring rolls and egg rolls .I've never had a bad meal . they offer both lunch and dinner specials. The cork decorations are amazing. The upholstered benches and chairs have seen better days . but I go for the food and its terrific.

Love their combination Mei fun. This is a thin rice noodles dish with shrimp, pork, edd and thinly sliced veggies. I always order light on oil.

This place is great! I love Chinese food and this place is my favorite. The people here are very nice and the beef and broccoli is the best around!

Okay food and service. The shrimp are big which is nice but the brown sauce tastes burnt and just not a pleasant taste. Even the rice tastes like it is has been sitting next to something old. Appetizers are good. Wait staff not very good or particularly nice but have had good service at the register.

Food is okay but don't expect to have it in a timely fashion. Check order before you leave, the last 3 times I've had missing items. Today a whole lunch was missing and had to wait around for it to be made. The website says opens at 10:30 but when I got there to pick up at 11 they said they didn't open 'til 11, so would be a while.

This place is a mixed bag, but average quality on their best day. Here's the breakdown: Egg Fu Yung, Almond chicken, and Sweet & Sour are probably the best things we've had here. The worst, and I mean terrible would include: Lo Mein, Fried Rice (has no peas, carrots, green onions, or egg, colorless and bland), and General Tso chicken taste like wood (and my name ain't Grand Master Flash lol). Ann Arbor needs a good Chinese Food spot PLEASE! Keep it simple when ordering here as to avoid disappointment.

Food was tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced. Decor was older but easily offset by the food.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken and got dry, unseasoned, breaded chicken with a side of duck sauce, which was disgusting. I order pork egg roll and receive vegetable egg roll with raw dough in the middle. This is the actual worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It’s in edible: then the delivery person had the NERVE to ask me for an additional tip on top of the included tip. Disgusting food.

I had a very bad experience, ordered about $40 of food for my whole family and half the order was wrong, I received the wrong price over the phone so not only was it the wrong price but the wrong food too, I found a hair in the food and worst of all I only received 1 fortune cookie for my entire family of 4. Very bad experience I would not recommend panda house

Nice place, friendly staff although sometimes a little difficult to communicate. Simple but good food. For the price a great value!

I had the Dragon and the Phoenix combo and it was excellent.

Good quality, but very inexpensive place for lunch and tea

This is a real Jewel hidden in a strip mall. I am so happy to know about this place. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, my absolute favorite which I can never find prepared the way I remember it in the past. I was happily surprised to find it done just the way I remember. Food was good service is okay price is reasonable would have gave it four stars except for these Booth seating springs where given out and my wife wasn't very comfortable.

Seemed dead for a lunch crowd, only a couple other people when we were there. White rice isn't sticky rice, and sweet and sour chicken was just chicken and sauce, no vegetables or pineapple. Ok. Almond boneless chicken just eh. Over cooked chicken and sauce was not really appetizing. It almost had a faint curry taste, might have been better with more. Egg rolls are cabbage rolls, I prefer ones with sprouts but I'm sure someone else prefers these. The bathrooms weren't horrible, but the lighting was dreadfully dim so I'll let the pictures tell. I get the feeling by the toddler sitting on someone's lap in the kitchen and the older gentleman sleeping at a booth that it's a family affair.

Perfectly prepared... standard dishes but the fried bits are perfect light and crispy not heavy and oily. The sauces are well made and flavorful and the veggies are just right... the first time since moving to Michigan 10 years ago that I have had truly excellent Chinese. Now I'm obsessed!
